Shortly after the CEO of mindlab started the event officially by introducing his team which was made up of DR. Rwakiseta Herbert himself, Uwiseyimana patience, MERCi, Ndamage B. Acram and  Frank Twagiramugu

After the introduction Dr. Herbert invited the first speaker who addressed the audience about vision.
Mr. Frank Twagiramungu advised students to always have a vision for their life and to always not be driven by influence from their friends and drugs which can all spoil their lives. He also proceeded by telling them that having a vision gives your live a sense of direction and meaning to your life and this made the students so encouraged and motivated.

Mr. Frank Twagiramungu addressing studenta about Vision and discipline

Mr. Acram encouraged the students to always have short term, mid term and long term goals and he ended by telling them to choose between these three categories of people

Mr. Ndamage B. Acram addressing students on goal setting

Mindlab Leaders Of Today (MLOT) launches in King David Academy | Dr RWAKISETA Herbert

It was another fruitful evening at King David Academy when Mindlab Inc launched its mentor-ship club called Mindlab Leaders Of Today. The evening started on smoothly with a Christian Rap song by Neffex called Destiny before the CEO and founder of Mindlab Dr. RWAKISETA Herbert addressed the students.

He commenced by thanking the administration of King David for having given him and seen the need for MLOT club to be established in the school. He further used his personal story to explain why every student needs to have a clear road map to what they wish to achieve in life coupled with a very high level of discipline. He explained that for one to become successful, they need to have internal self- discipline. However, much as the world imposes external discipline one cannot change without self-mastery and control.

Dr. RWAKISETA Herbert addressing King David Academy Students

From the song Destiny, Dr Rwakiseta used the chorus to explain to the students that nobody should impose their dreams plans and vision onto them. They should work hard to manifest the seed that God planted into each one to benefit human life. He went further and explained that their success is based on the choices they have to make each and every day together with self-belief self-worth and self-esteem. Education only refines what they already have in them through turning knowledge or information into activities or events that benefit those around them. He gave the students a blue print based on Exodus 17:14 on how and why they should write down their goals and encouraged them to always journal as a means of recording measuring their progress in life and keep track of their thoughts and ideas.

Dr. RWAKISETA Herbert addressing King David Academy Students

The students were also given techniques on how to read and memories with comprehension. Dr. RWAKISETA encouraged the students to always
i-                               Plane their next day before going to sleep, know what and specifically what to read the next day, be grateful first thing when they get us and last thing everyday before bed time,
ii-                            Revise with intention of discussing for other students because “teachers learn twice” this will help them read with focused attention,
iii-                         To always take breaks, do body stretch and jumping jugs to allow free floor of oxygen to the brain which is the storage faculty.
iv-                          To always have time to think about their life and contemplate on what they have read, he based this on Jesus who always left his disciples and went in solitude to master his life.
v-                            The students were also taught how to use pictures to read connect and memories a method known as “mind palace” that was used by ancient Greek. Dr. Rwakiseta demonstrated this technique to recite the first 15 elements of the periodic table. This got the students exited and surprised.

The evening was concluded by a brief story that lead to the introduction of MLOT among youth and how it has also resulted in transformation of many youth that are members today, among which have become artists poets, motivational speakers presenters and others starting their own clubs.

As mind lab Mentorship program continues to build and transform youth in Rwanda, the number of schools welcoming the idea is blossoming, through its initiative of MLOT – (Mindlab Leaders of Today)

Dr. RWAKISETA started his speech by challenging the students about their purpose in life why they are in school, and why they spend their time doing what they do. Relating it to his mission statement, he explained that his soul purpose and WHY he is still alive and doing what his doing is to transform minds into agents of change which change starts with the will and having a burning desire for something one is interested in or that which he or she doesn’t like.
Students of G.S Kabare responding to some questions

He picked random students and asked them their dreams or what they wish to become after school, very few new their purpose and vision and why they studied what they studied. He challenged the students using the story of biblical Joseph in Genesis 37 he shared few lessons from the story among which included;

1     1. How to be courageous in terms if worst time, he related it with what the students are going through, long times in school difficulties and challenges they are facing,

  2. How God has a vision for every one in life and through dreams he reveals his purpose. He encouraged the students to write down their dreams, pray over it seek wisdom trust in the Lord not circumstances before sharing it.

3.He further asked the students to have integrity because temptations will always come their way but with Gods grace they are able to overcome.
He summed up this story by encouraging students to pursue true prosperity, fully forgive those that wrong them and practice humanity with these aliened they will be able to step forth and succeed in life. He further told them that, “The biggest tragedy in life is not death but rather one living without a plan or purpose.”

The one New-simple and scientifically proven way to live longer - Dr. RWAKISETA Herbert

It has been scientifically proved that each time you smile, a new neural road is developed that connects and increase the levels of happiness and good health (endorphins and serotonin) fighting off stress. Many have resorted to the negatives and differences or what separates us in the world than focusing our attention to what unites us. Such as smiling and laughing we all do no matter what country or tribe or religion you belong to.

I have seen may countries irrespective of their differences coming together to share the smile and laughter in the world sports arenas, music contests to accomplish the same goal of togetherness. As mile has the power to cut through all barriers has no age gender or even culture. It is a universal language understood by all and representing good will affection and openness and acceptance. Imagine how it feels when welcomed by a smile? Before any word you feel comfortable and increases connectivity. During a TED talk Ron Gutman discussed the hidden power of a smile and went further to say that, a single smile can provide the same level of stimulation/ feeling just as 2,000 chocolate bars can do or the feeling you get after winning the lottery.

Therefore, instead of spending money on chocolates spend nothing by smiling for the effect is the same. Smiling has further been proved to increase longevity; 7 years longer compared to those that did not. With this in mind the world has calendared every 1st Friday of October every year as the world smile day in honor of Harvey Ball known for creating the Smile Face in 1963 with the slogan, “Improving the world with one smile at a time”

To be effective in smiling and boost your experience, smile the first thing when you get up early morning, always remind yourself each day that you are going to smile more, think happy through out and smile at everyone that comes your way, remembered the more you smile the more happier your become. Make it a goal each day to smile.
Research as further found that Children smile over 400 times a day compared to adults. Increase your love by sharing a smile each day with the world. We need more smiles than grumpy faces.

Dr. Rwakiseta Herbert challenges NU-Vision High School students

NU-Vision High school students challenge MindLAB Inc

The early morning of 16th July Dr. RWAKISETA Herbert CEO and Founder of MindLAB Inc was honored to meet students at New Vision High School together with his team. The key Mission statement of MindLAB Inc as the CEO said is, “Transforming Minds into Agents of Change.”

“Many youths do not know who they want to become, which has hindered them to unlock their potential and engage in different bad habits and disciplines limiting their influence and value in their different areas of gifting” he said

Dr. RWAKISETA is on campaign visiting educational institution and all other arenas that gather together youth as a way to transform them about life realities.

At vision High School, Dr. RWAKISETA discussed about how Vision and discipline are key for effective living and fulfillment. Not surprising the administration of the school was so much welcoming together with the students ready to get transformed and receive the new message.

He told students that to become a leader one has to set self-imposed standards for the sake of a attaining the goal they desire. He categorized disciplines into two external and internal but he called and recommended the students to under take internal disciplines because they are the keys for purposeful living in rediscovering ones potential reflected in proverbs 29:18, “ A man without a clear vision throws of self restrain/ perish.”

He called upon students to find their vision or gifts and imposes discipline upon them. Once they do they will be influential and attract people because people are attracted to ones’ disciplines. Giving examples of great athletes’ leaders using H.E Paul Kagame the President of the Republic of Rwanda as the taste for discipline and influence due to the clear vision about Rwanda’s destiny that has kept the country disciplined, attracting many and advancing in development.
Dr. RWAKISETA also challenged the students that they were not born to do many things, “only few things in life matter” he went a head and requested student to further rediscover themselves into that they want to change and live one life to see it progress and manifest for a fulfilling and stress free life. He said stress comes from not knowing what to do that causes one to be a “junk of all trades and master of non”. Busy doing so many things that are not necessary in life.
He concluded and called upon the students at New Vision High School to take some time to them selves and think deeply about what they want to become or change.
Some of the Truth seekers after having a one on one session with
Dr. RWAKISETA Herbert

He asked them to write them on paper, seek guidance and develop internal self-imposed
Standards or disciplines. That should manifest in actions daily keeping in mind that Education is the only key capable of refining what they are.

How to turn your ordinary business extraordinary - Dr. Rwakiseta Herbert

Barely Markham once said, “what makes death so hard is unsatisfied curiosity”

Today as we strive to have extra ordinary businesses majority of us are stake in the mindset of ordinary business. We have failed to progress due to untapped curiosity. Albert Einstein was once asked what made him great and he answered Curiosity. There fore expect the worst and do your best, for you wont be surprised when the worst comes since you will have expected it.
Don’t be sure about what you will find but be sure to know when you come back. For your company to be extra ordinary take the following into consideration.

1)    Spend more time on strategic planning than comparison. Many companies have invested a lot of money and resources trying to out compete other companies forgetting that competition is time wasting and discourage creativity. It further reduces your market share and customer base. Some business due to competition has ended up reducing their prices in compulsion with their competitors forgetting that we buy value rather price.

2)    With the emerging increase in technology, many businesses and companies have embraces technology transformation however many have failed to allow technological transformation in their operational and businesses. There has bee a vast unprecedented involvement of business in the last five year. Brand are becoming bigger than ever with high competition leading to change in consumer behaviors that most businesses can accommodate that’s why we see 30% of businesses closing in the first 2 years and 50% in the first five years study carried out by Small business associations. Many companies have adopted digital marketing that has resulted into massive inefficiency leading to failure in innovation and optimization of the available opportunities in the market place. Charles Darwin’s once said ,” it is not the strongest of the species that survive, nor the most intelligent, but the one most responsive to change.”

1)    Merging and Acquisition (M&E). Many companies have often thought that when they come together through merging and acquisition their chances of being great is high. Little do they know that there are negative impacts of the firm’s leverage position? Studies have shown that there are only 50% chances of success. Most of the profound reasons for M&E are ; to become bigger, to pre-empty competition, to create synergies and economies of scale  and also tax purposes. And some of the causes that causes 50% chances of M&E failures or collapses may include, difficulty in practical management between the two companies that come together than it is in theory caused by failure in reaching the intended purpose in terms of cost saving from synergies and economies of scale, cultural clashes due to dissimilarity amongst the M&E companies and further clashes in the deal size relevant to the companies size causing significant cash out in premium in owned stock.

Therefore greatness is not a matter of circumstances but rather a matter of conscious choices made in life achieved through developing ideas and tasting them to an extent that you see them break and rebuild again
To turn your company for ordinary to extra- ordinary, management and leadership within your company is key and essential. All you need to do is consider WHAT first before WHO, this can be through setting new strategies and vision to direct your choices, get the right people on board and chance out the wrong ones considering the right ones are confortable and ready for the ride to the intended destination. Not only should you consider people but the right people” have faith irrespective of the difficulties and always add value to your goods or services

Embrace technology as your primary means to ignite transformation and do not allow ego get into your primary ambition and progress. To avoid this set up successor for success. Don’t mind about other big dogs in the kennel as long as they remain the big ones, work slowly steady and progressively because those considered with zero chances of wining are the ones that often win.

There is greatness inside all of us but it takes CHOICE coupled with a strong burning DESIRE. To be great and go above the status quo the time to enjoy and embrace your inner excellence is NOW. Aim higher above where you have set your mark and get better victory at a time.
